Steel Lintels Ireland was formed in 2012 by Barney McConville. An engineering graduate, Barney worked in the lintel industry before establishing Steel Lintels Ireland.

It was identified that the Irish Lintel market had the need for a lintel stockist with the ability to design and manufacture special product. Steel Lintels Ireland’s primary focus is the supply of a quality product, in a time frame that suits the Irish builder.

We are the sole importer of Catnic Lintels in Ireland and stock a wide range of standard Catnic product. Itemised schedules are produced, listing a lintel for each individual opening. Designed in house by our engineers, we manufacture the special lintels in our Co. Down factory.

We employ dedicated design staff who utilise the latest CAD software and FEA technology to design many types of special lintels, including:

Steel Lintels Ireland are accredited by BSI. We operate a Factory Production Control system (EN 1090) and all products are fully CE marked and comply with relevant EN standards and building control regulations.
